Nina wanted to make a discovery, but her list didn’t specify if it was discovering a new species, or a new element, or a new solution to an old math problem.
What kind of discovery do you think she meant?
Nina not only wanted to ride an elephant, but she also wanted to be licensed to drive one! But, her brother Sandy and his girlfriend Claire were along for the ride, on an elephant that is, in Thailand! Wow!

Nina really wanted to be wild in Rio during Carnival…it made her list twice!

Nina wanted to be with someone she loved while visiting the Camera degli Sposi (the bridal chamber) in the Ducal Palace, Mantua, Italy.
What’s one place you’ve always wanted to take someone you loved?
Nina seemed to always want to visit space. She wanted to be on the list for a tourist shuttle flight, defy gravity, or feel weightless.
Have you ever been to space camp?
Nina seemed to be an astronaut at heart, always wanting to defy gravity, feel weightless, or go to space camp.
Have you ever gotten to do anything like that?
Nina loved the idea of traversing the Mississippi River, either by steam boat or by paddle. Have you ever done either?
Lots of people can say they have a driver’s license, but not many can say they have a license to drive an elephant!
Have you ever ridden on one?
Nina dreamed big – not content with just seeing, or even riding in one, she wanted to fly a jet.
