#027 See the ocean
Nina saw the ocean many times. I can’t remember when she first saw it. Sandy, John and Nina are catching some rays, strolling along the boardwalk in Mission Beach, California.

We don’t know if this list item refers to a big-budget Broadway musical, or if a small production in a community theater would have sufficed, but Nina never got to say she choreographed a show.
What about you? Have you ever had the chance to put together a stage show? Or written a musical?
Nina loved Maya Angelou’s book, “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings”. She was very excited when I got tickets for us to hear Maya Angelou at Gammage Auditorium in October 2007.
Nina never visited Death Valley in the summer. How about you?

For Thanksgiving of 2008, Nina went to New Jersey and met two of her best friends Karen and Alex. They stayed at Alex’s aunt’s house and went to see the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving parade. A bit of family lore: For the past 10 years on Thanksgiving Day, Nina would chop fresh fruit for her WFS (Wonderful Fruit Salad) while watching The Parade. She would call me in from the kitchen when a favorite balloon went by. Kermit was one of her favorites.
Nina loved to go to concerts, plays, and musicals, and she kept ticket stubs of events she attended.
