In this age of computers and instant information, this ancient Wonder is filled with mystery. The picture shows Nina standing in front of this monument as the sky overhead is filling with grey clouds that will add a brooding, almost foreboding feel to these giant monoliths. Perhaps something momentous is about to happen…
One of Nina’s ambitious goals was to go literally “everywhere”. Her passport has tons of stamps.
Nina’s brother Sandy lived in Shenzhen, China for a year after he graduated from college and taught English at a Chinese elementary school. Before he left to come home, Nina went over to visit him and see the wonders of that country! Is visiting a Chinese Temple one of your dream to-dos?

The lap of luxury (if only for an afternoon). Nina visited her brother Sandy who was teaching English in Shenzhen, China (which is about an hour from Hong Kong).
They had high tea at the Peninsula. “The Grande Dame of the Far East”, says it all. “The Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong is famous for its fleet of Rolls-Royce limousines which are used to transport guests in style to various locations throughout the territory. In addition, twin helipads on the roof provide a convenient landing spot for guests who wish to arrive or depart by helicopter. What could be more luxurious! Have you ever dreamed of staying in a hotel like this?
