Unbelievable life changing opportunity! Nina and her best friend Karen were selected to participate in the Students on Ice trip to the Artic in August 2007. Picture this – It’s about 110 degrees in July 2007 and we are shopping at REI for clothes for Nina’s trip to the artic! She flew from Phoenix to Canada to depart on an ice breaker for the Artic.
