Nina never got a chance to go to Africa and visit the famous Serengeti Plain. Have you ever been there? What was it about the Serengeti that made it worth the trip for you?
Visiting the Serengeti is just like the pictures you see in National Geographic! We spent two days on Safari and we were fortunate enough to see the big 5 (lion, leopard, cape buffalo, elephant and rhinoceros), a green mamba (one of Africa’s most highly venomous snakes) and the wildebeest/zebra migration as well as a multitude of other animals. I also found out that there are a variety of different kinds of giraffe’s, identifiable by the fact that their spots look different. To this day, I would rate a safari in the Serengeti as one of the top 5 things to do, EVER.
