Frank and I went up in a hot air balloon to celebrate one of our wedding anniversaries. It was really fun and not scary at all. It was also amazingly quiet and we could hear (and talk with) people on the ground using our normal tone of voice — the sound traveled so well.
Palm Springs …. very beautiful, but it was surprising how loud the hot air blasts were … and then quiet …
